Activities

We can, upon your request, organize or arrange for any of the following activities.

Fishing

We have several boats of different sizes to accommodate various sizes of fishing parties.

Lake Nahuel Huapi is a large and very deep lake (about 1500ft). There are a number of species of game fish here, among them are the brown trout, and rainbow trout. The largest that we have caught is 20 lbs. (9kg)!

If you are into fly fishing for trout there are many streams and rivers in the area to test your skill. The Rio Correntoso is well known for fly fishing and for being the shortest river in the world (only 200 yards!), it is only 3 miles (5 km) from the hotel.

Skiing, Snowboarding

In the winter (it is summer in the U.S.) you can go skiing at nearby Cerro Bayo (6217ft, 1895m), only 6 miles (10km) from the hotel. Cerro Bayo is a medium-sized and private ski center where you can enjoy the most wonderful view of the lake and profit from the benefits of an ideal resort for families. Cerro Bayo offers entertainment for all levels, the percentage of the ski runs being 10% for beginners, 40% for intermediates, 35% for advanced skiers and 15% for experts. Several sites of interest are in the area, such as the cave paintings in Victoria Island, which are more than 500 years old, and those in Cerro Leones, 50 miles (80Km) away from the village.
